How to put your New Surge Protector back on your transmitter/power outlet:

1)  Untwist both sets of black wires Loop/Transmitter

2) You should see a small piece of exposed copper wire on each end of the four wires

3) Locate the 2 black wires following them up into the transmitter.

4) Place those transmitter wires into the new surge protector by pressing the black tabs labeled on the surge protector as “TRANSMITTER” press the black tab & push the wire under that black tab. Make sure the copper wire is making contact (not pushing the jacket portion of the wire under the tab)

5) Locate the last 2 wires seeing them traveling towards the outside

6) Place those two “LOOP” wires into the new surge protector by pressing the red tabs labeled “LOOP” making sure the copper wire is making contact by pressing the red tab and pushing them under the tab (not pressing the jacket portion of the wire under the tab)

7) Plug the surge protector in the outlet and plug the power supply into the surge protector

If the LED lights up and no beeping happens check to make sure the collar/collars are activating at the fence, and you are good to go!

How Do I Bypass A Surge Protector?
1. See two red tabs labeled “loop” and two black tabs labeled “transmitter” on bottom of surge protector. Tabs are spring loaded and only open one way.
2. Open one black tab (transmitter) and pull out one wire, from black tab. Open up one red tab (loop) and pull out one red tab wire. Twist two wires together with thumb and index finger.
3. Repeat process with two remaining wires in surge protector. (If done correctly. You will have one wire left in red tab and one wire left in black tab) remove the last two wires and twist them together.
4. Make sure two sets of twisted wires are not making contact with each other.
5. Plug in transmitter using black power supply, directly into outlet.
6. If transmitter still beeps, you have a wire break, not a blown surge protector. (Call 4045366770 for service)
7. If transmitter no longer beeps after bypass is complete. Number should be illuminated in screen. Take collar out to boundary wire. Hold collar at knee height. Collar should activate.
8. If collar does not activate. Make sure bypass is wired correctly. Also make sure collar is charged and or has fresh battery.
